higganum reservoir at sunset
I really love pictures that don’t need any editing at all and this was one that I recently took at a local reservoir. The way the water flowed from step to step gave it that soft look naturally.
This was in upperstate new york at a bike race. This tree looked like it got hit by lightning and then leaned a certain way. I’ve never seen anything like it.
This mailbox really caught my attention. It is infront of an old abandoned factory. I would have really liked to know the story behind the factory and what it used to be. I thought it was cool that a mailbox this old stood the stands of time and isn’t being used any longer.
I was on my way to my boyfriends house when I noticed how the lighting behind the tree lit it up with such an orange glow infront of the red barn. I was fascinated by the colors. I stopped and set my camera up across the street on a stone wall to keep it steady.
This is a picture I took while in Block Island from the boat I was on. The saying goes ‘Red sky at night, sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors take warning.’ Luckily that was at night. No editing or photoshop done, that is just how the sun reflected off of the ocean and clouds creating this beautiful effect.
